Post Multiple Tooth Extraction

Post Multiple Tooth Extraction

The removal of one or two teeth is a simple procedure. Anything more than that requires the jawbone to be shaped to prepare for a denture. Following the procedure, you may experience the following symptoms: Within two days, you will experience the maximum swelling on the inside of the mouth and possibly around the eye as well. The area around your eye may become discolored. This can be alleviated by applying a warm compress. You may experience sore throat as the muscles near the extraction site become sore. This is normal and may be accompanied with the corners of your mouth becoming dry and cracked from being stretched open during surgery.

In most cases, you will have a follow up appointment to discuss any post surgery symptoms that you are experiencing.
